My dad and his wife just came for a visit with my 2 nieces. My niece love the dogs so much, when her dad called to check up on her. She told him to talk to her sister instead. LOL

My brother and his wife wanted a mini vacation, had dropped their kids off to me for the July 4th weekend. It is so hot here at the Sacramento area, temperature was hitting the 90′s today, so my older daughter was suggesting some water fun in the backyard after we came back from Lollicup where we had some Boba to quench our thirst and cooling down a bit. I did not expected my nieces had packed their swimsuits, what a surprise when they came out with the suits on. I wonder is this a hint in life? One just should not predict what is going to happen with life, rather we should just enjoy the journey, take the good’s as well as the bad’s, since the bad thing is like the green leaves that grown with a beautiful flower, in whole with the flower, they made a beautiful plant, as well as a great gift. Alrigtht, enough of the philosophical about life, don’t the kids had fun here, just loving it, life is grand! They look so innocient, lovable, look at my youngest niece, isn’t she cute and adorable? I am starting to enjoy parenting, as I am slowly understand the meaning of being a father. I was and still is, under constant pressure with daily hustle, but I am trying to slow down and smell the flowers along the way and just not letting the hustle in life overwhelme me. Posts like this, will be a reflection of my thinking and thoughts, it is a bit emotional, yet, this is what life is about, I am smelling the roses. I heard of parents who had ‘problem’ child or children such as autism, or other medical issues, what a challenging life they will have, both the kids and parents. I have heard parents who want kids, but just was not bless with them, how much they missed out?

Here is my new companions for life, this video was made by my son Alex as a father’s day gift to me. Bobo and Joyie had came to our home as a family member on June 8th, 2009. Bobo and Joyie were borned on March 20 and March 26, 2009 respectively. The names were picked by daughter. I, especially, love the name Joyie, it mean happy child to me. This past 12 months on a personal base had been hell to me, but there were some sparkles here and there, the most notable were my kids are doing great in school, I am so proud of them, life had not been easy for them either. My son got 4 A’s and 2 B’s, my 2 daughters got all A’s. It is a great accomplishment for them as well as for me, since I am a single parent with 3 kids. As a parent, having 3 healthy children, where they are happy and doing great in life, what more should I ask for, nothing! So looking back, life is not all bad things, I had turned lemons into lemonade, a better tomorrow is on the horizon! Let’s kept it positive.
